The structure with an astonishing mechanism to keep the temperature cold just as an ancient refrigerator was made in the Qajar era and lies at the entrance of Abar-Kouh county.

Built in a stepped-cone shape, the icehouse was built as a default structure with four main parts that include the freezing pool, shadow-casting walls, ice storage and the conical dome.
